A magnificent Art Deco walnut and satinwood leather top desk. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.
The quality is outstanding, this is an impressive size, with a generous knee hole space. This has a gorgeous design, with the two wood typed contrasting beautifully, the handles are also beautifully sculpted. This is beautifully and seamlessly finished on all sides including the back, so it can be used as a free standing item. There is a gorgeous inset black leather writing surface with tooled edges.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout for its age. The leather top has also been replaced, so that is also in superb condition.
