Large 19th Century Revolving Mahogany Drum Table
About the Item
A attractive large early single pedestal Victorian Mahogany revolving Drum Table with a newer gold tooled leather top. Nice original finish with a great color and patina to the aged surface. There is a metal revolving mechanism attached to the underside of the top of the base that is screwed to the underside of the table through an opening in the base top. Four active cock beaded drawers around the deep apron. The top can also screwed down to be stationary if desired. The table is strong and stable in either configuration. Original drawer locks, pulls and Brass casters on the carved paw foot legs.
