Large Mid Century Modern Desk with Curved Front and Brass Handles 50's 60's
About the Item
A large mid-century desk made in teak with a beautifully curved front. The desk has great proportions; it is unusually deep providing plenty of space for working. This 50's Mad Men-style desk comes with a host of drawers; three slim solid wood drawers on the left-hand side and two drawers on the right. The bottom right drawer is a deep one, suitable for filing. There is also a very slim drawer in the middle (no keys).
The vintage desk has adjustable brass feet and beautiful brass wire handles.
There are three extensions to the tabletop, two at the front and one at the back - ideal when you need some extra space for paperwork, etc.
The desk has a Formica-type finish on the tabletop, which has a light-colored surface mark on one side, and a small knock on the back (please see images).
The desk in is good structurally solid vintage condition, with normal signs of age.
An attractive, mid-century addition to a study.
