Lincoln Desk Leather Wood Brass Marble Handmade in Portugal by Porus Studio
About the Item
The Lincoln Desk is an imposing and modern furniture piece which honors the renowned Lincoln Memorial. In 1922, the Lincoln Memorial Commission was created to oversee the construction of a memorial to the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. After a design competition, the commission chose architect Henry Bacon's Greek temple design.
Inspired by such mark of a nation, Porus Studio created the unforgettable mid-century modern Lincoln Desk to dazzle in any contemporary home décor.
The glorious black leather top features 2 drawers finished in black high gloss varnish, contrasting with the main structure in lacquered wood with black satin stain. The imposing legs of the Lincoln Desk are made with Negro Marquina marble, featuring some brushed brass details. The mid-century modern desk is a must-have contemporary furniture piece for any luxury home décor.
