About the Item
Louis XVI style mahogany writing desk with satinwood and French walnut marquetry with bronze banding. The desk is double sided with the original tooled leather top, bronze escutcheons, mounts and resting on bronze capped feet. Circa 1860-1890.
Dimensions: 64 1/2" x 33" x 31" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. Restoration recommended. There are various signs of age including no key, wear, marks, stains and scuffs to leather, veneer losses, wear consistent with age and use with the Desk retaining a refined presentation.
