About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely antique French circa 1900 late Victorian pine writing table, desk or occasional centre table with brown leather top and giltwood frame
A very decorative and versatile piece, it looks to have been designed as a writing table desk however the size lends itself well to a centre occasional table as well. It’s a very decorative piece having a hand dyed brown leather top, the frame as you can see is extremely ornate and gold leaf gilt
We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the hand dyed top has a very washy uneven finish as was the intention, the frame is solid sound and free from damage
