A handsome mid-19th-century English writing table featuring a rectangular mahogany frame inset with a black, gilt-tooled leather writing surface. Two locking frieze drawers retain their original brass knob pulls, while ring-turned, tapering legs terminate in brass cup casters for easy mobility. A timeless, well-proportioned piece that brings classic elegance to any study or living space.
