About the Item

A Swedish Modern freestanding writing desk, in striking mahogany, Circa 1960s, produced and sold by JKM - Järnforsens Kontorsmöbler, Stockholm, Model name : Continental. The rectangular top with long walnut veneers, the sitter edge with a canted front, three short drawers and a slide out surface, raised on square tapered legs with stained caps. Signed. Subtle canted sides to the drawers and the wide high kneehole allowing the use of a large armchair.
