Art Deco Carved Briar Dining Table, 1930s
About the Item
Art deco table The base with 4 carved "onion" feet, carry an ebonized pine cone on top. The base worked with shaped waves obtained by carving on solid wood of generous thickness then veneered in selection walnut briar laid in an open spot The square top is wavy on the corners, the edge is shaped on three levels and contains a splendid large stain briar. The polishing is perfect and keeps the original patina. It had obvious extensions 4 "T" holes under the top. The style and design re-proposes the Meroni and Fossati company. The table is ready for use.
