About the Item
Named after standing stones, typically dating from the European middle Bronze Age and found at archaeological sites solely as monoliths, or as part of a group of similar stones with complex ideological and religious significance. Our inspiration is further influenced by Barbara Hepworth’s later interpretations of these ancient abstract forms.
Constructed of three handmade interlocking sections, shown here in hardwood featuring our ‘Dead Flat Black’ ebonised finish. Also offered in bespoke sizes in a range of natural stones, wood or steel with a choice of finishes - please enquire to find out more.
