Grand country French provincial style farmhouse trestle dining table crafted from solid oak. The imposing table is made on a massive scale featuring a nearly 3 inch thick top with large butterfly or bowtie joints visible. The top is supported by a trestle base with monumental baluster form legs ending with 9" inch wide shoe feet. Incredibly solid and heavy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Ample leg room measuring 26.5 inches from the floor to the bottom. The oak timbers have a rich dark finish that showcases the fine woodgrain patterns. The legs are conjoined by a long floor stretcher. Very impressive scale and presence.
