Georgian-Style Banded Walnut Dining Table
About the Item
The top is book-matched veneers and has a banded edge
Raised on cabriole legs with acanthine-carved knees ending in
Pad Feet. The color is a honey hue with original finish and patina. It has three leaves which measure 17.5 inches each. The corners
Are gracefully curved. The banding has an ebony line running
Around the outer banded edge. It also has a herringbone design
In the edge running the entire circumference of the table top.
The closure is tight giving a smooth appearance to the top.
It closes easily to adjust the length. The carving at the top
Of each leg is very well done. It will seat 10–12 chairs.
No structural problems and a fine design.
