RARE Midcentury Artist Ceramic Dining Table by Snyers, Belgium 1950's
About the Item
Midcentury Design Artist Ceramic Dining Table signed by Snyers. Made in Belgium, 1950's period. Art ceramic top dining table with wrought iron forged steel base. Large and heavy table with beautiful one of a kind art ceramic tile illustrated top and forged steel base with intricate design. The tile top has a signature by Snyers. Illustrations of Summer scenes. Figures with tall grass, reed workers and lovers under the sun. Superb colors on this illustrated ceramic top in a typical style from the mid 1950's. The top comes in very good condition with minor signs from it's age and use. The metal base has some repairs (see pictures) on the forged steel and has been reinforced with steel beams to hold the ceramic top more sturdy. Overall a superb and Very RARE dining table.
