Table "Bisanzio" des. Carlo Scarpa and Hiroyuki Toyoda for Simon 1973
About the Item
Elegant Dining table designed by Carlo Scarpa and produced by Simon. Following the death of Scarpa, the design was refined and finished by Hiroyuki Toyoda in conjunction with Dino Gavina in 1980. Two variations of the table were produced in very small numbers. The top is made of wood and has been newly upholstered in fabric (as originally produced ). It contains the makers mark on the underside of the table. The beauty of this table is its frame which is formed from tubular chromed steel and finished off with brushed brass ends. A truly unique table and rare find.
