A Spanish Farmers Oak Wood Table
About the Item
This sturdy oak table is made in the Spanish Baroque style, with elaborately carved legs and hand-forged iron braces running from the center of the tabletop to each leg. The 2" thick top is made from four vintage oak planks joined together with the legs (and kept perfectly flat) by an intersecting, sliding joint. The table has been partially stripped and can be left as-is, waxed or stained and refinished, according to customer preference. Despite the table's Spanish style, it was made in southern France.
