French 1820s Restauration Period Painted and Parcel Gilt Guéridon Table

About the Item

A French Restauration period painted and gilded guéridon table from the early 19th century, with carved motifs and lion paw feet. Created in France during the reign of King Louis XVIII, this guéridon table features a circular top sitting above pedestal beautifully carved with garlands, foliage and rosettes, while the ensemble is resting on three lion paw feet. Painted in an off white color perfectly highlighted by gilded accents and showcasing a nicely weathered patina, this French Restauration guéridon circa 1820 will bring a Classical touch to any living room, bedroom or hallway.
