About the Item
Absolutely beautiful eye-catching and professional pair coffee mill / grinders from the 1920s made in Sweden Stockholm by A. Jørgensen & co. Kaffekvarns-Aktiebolaget in technically very good condition which can be used professionally for many more years.
The pine wooden, original, cabinet is in vintage condition. The cabinet has on top three drawers. The two drawers on the out sides can be used to catch coffee from the mill above for small portions. These drawers can be moved to a compartment next to them so that the ground coffee ends up in the larger drawer below,
At the bottom of the cabinet is the new electric motor that drives both mills at the same time. the motor has a connection 2x220 volts.
The cast iron grinders each have a different steel grinding stone. one for coarse grinding and the other for a finer grinding. in addition, both mills can also be set variably. the bearings of both grinders are perfect. Both grinders are mechanically in perfect condition and can last for many decades.
The original coffee containers that rest on the grinders are made of copper. These have had visible solder repairs in various places over the years. The copper containers are each 60 cm / 23.6 inches high and have a diameter of 25 cm / 10 inches each.

- Condition:Replacements made: The electro motor has been replaced for a new 2x 230 volt electro motor. The leather belts are replaced for rubber goodyears. Wear consistent with age and use. The roller bearings in both mills are perfect as well as the iron grind stone.
