About the Item
A lavish pair of massive Venetian / Neo Grec style sculpture pedestals. Made from bronze with a vibrant polychrome finish. Feature a traditional columnar form with large topless figures along each side having an out stretched arm reaching upward while holding their chiton or tunic in their other hand. Front and back of the stands showcase "S" and "C" scrolls, acanthus, foliate, and scalloping. Finished in black and gold with accents of pink brown, blue and silver.
