Pair of 19th Century French Louis XV Carved Giltwood Three-Leg Pedestals

About the Item

Dress up a living room or hallway with this elegant pair of antique giltwood pedestals. Crafted in France circa 1890, each stand features a round top supported by three gracefully curved legs joined by a shaped stretcher with a central acanthus finial. The carved and gilded wood is decorated with neoclassical motifs, including ribbon-tied musical instruments, floral swags, and beaded trim along the edges. The cabriole legs are embellished with carved leaf and flower garlands, ending in hoof feet. The finish displays an aged, patinated gilt surface with some wear to the top, enhancing their antique character. These Louis XV style guéridons are ideal for displaying busts, vases, or sculptures, and bring a touch of classical refinement to any traditional or eclectic interior.
