Pedestal designed by the Architect Paul Hankar (1859-1901) and executed by the ironworker Pierre Desmedt, circa 1890. An exceptional craftsmanship performed without welding, only by screws and wrought iron. Paul Hankar furniture and objects are very rare on the art market.
