Walnut Queen Anne Style Server

Large serving tables were needed when entertaining large groups for dinner on the estate. Things haven't changed much in the past three centuries. Copious amounts of food and drink need to be placed somewhere and where better than this faithful reproduction of a Queen Anne era? (Her reign lasted but five short years, but the furniture styles from her time go on.) Constructed of walnut and generously sized, this table has a regal countenance about it as it stands on delicately angled cabriole legs with shell and bell flower carvings. The carved scallop shell adorning the apron is the crowning touch to this beautiful table.
