A charming 19th century French bistro table, crafted circa 1870, featuring a colorful terrazzo top inset with marble fragments in tones of white, ochre, black, and red. The circular top is framed with a hand-applied brass band, its gently worn edge lending a subtle antique character. The decorative surface is arranged in concentric rings, offering visual depth and a vibrant mosaic-style effect typical of late 19th-century Parisian café culture. The base is cast iron with a turned column and stepped circular foot, stamped “DEPOSE” along with a decorative maker’s mark, an indication of protected design registration in France. The iron has developed a rich, timeworn patina, enhancing its industrial charm and authenticity.
