Hand sculpted side table by artistic duo Bloko 748 (Victor Miklos and Antonio Davanzos), this piece of collectable design was created to be part of their first solo during the Venice Biennale 2024.
Furniture usually points towards a function. Bloko 748' work backflips, sommersaults, and lands on functionality with a signe foot. By harnessing their sculptural energies to the typological forms of furniture the artists suggest that even the most prosaic environments can be made explosive, exciting, and aesthetically shattering that the upheavals we now go to art galleries expecting to se can be refreshed by being insinuated into waiting rooms, around conferences tables, and before writing desks.
