An English oak side table from the mid-19th century, with single drawer, turned legs and curving X-form cross-stretcher. Born in England during the second quarter of the 19th century, this exquisite side table features a rectangular top sitting above a scalloped apron comprising of a long dovetailed drawer fitted with brass teardrop pulls. Raised on four thin turned legs, the table showcases a curving X-form cross-stretcher that draws all the attention. With its elegant lines and lovely oak patina, this English side table circa 1840 will bring a graceful presence to any home, perhaps placed in a living room, bedroom or hallway.
