About the Item

This fascinating small side table originally served as a tobacco or smoking table. Note in photos the larger boxes for pipes/cigars, smaller storage boxes for tobacco/matches, also an ash tray and candle stick. It is the hand-carved elements that raise this table to a special folk-art find. Note the carved pipes, carved details around the entire table top, and the stylized carved faux wood of the tri-foot pedestal base. Total height at candlestick is 36.5" tall, to table top is 31" tall. Restored, this unique side table is stable, ready for use and has a wax finish. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this accent table which is truly a special find. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
