About the Item

This birch plywood magazine holder - side table was designed by Hein Stolle and manufactured by De Toekomst Holland. It is one of the earliest plywood designs manufactured in the Netherlands. The side table was likely designed for 'Groep &' (1946 -1950), a design collective founded by Hein Stolle alongside Wim den Boon and Pierre Kleykamp . This group was committed to carrying the pre-war design ideals into the Netherlands' post-war era. The magazine - side table is in good condition and has acquired a nice patina throughout the years.
