Beautiful details abound in this lovely original painted standing desk from Sweden. The carved swag, flourishes and dentil molding gracefully accent the slanted desk/writing/reading surface while all raised on slender tall legs. The interior is painted a contrasting black, with 4 small drawers and storage area. Please enlarge the photos to appreciate the aged white painted finish, distressed through generations of use giving it a slight dove gray cast. Restored and ready for use, this will make the perfect hostess stand, reception desk or unique display for a special book.
