19th Century French Napoleon III Hand Painted Oval Brass Tray

About the Item

Place this elegant antique tray on a coffee table, or in a master bathroom to display beauty products. Crafted in France, circa 1870, and oval in shape, the colorful platter with pierced side handles, is dressed with a pierced brass gallery around the frame. The center is decorated with a hand painted center medallion depicting a pastoral scene and protected with hard acrylic. The artwork reads: " Peint par Inreunelt, Dessine par Marchais, Grave par Dupare"; wonderful details throughout the painting. The Napoleon III style tray table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with rich patinated colors on a beige background. Measures: 23" W x 15" D.
