Alison Veit (b. 1989) lives and works in Abiquiu, NM.
She holds a BA in Sculpture and Architecture from Bennington College. Veit’s forms examine sculpture’s relationship to architecture through earth casting techniques. Her mirror pieces funcion as ethereal portals, exuded from earthen materials including sand, stone, glass and clay.
Selected solo exhibitions include “Zaubererjackl” at Pina, Vienna and “Say it with a Black Rose” at Room East, New York. Her work has been exhibited at Queer Thoughts, New York; Bodega, New York; Freedman Fitzpatrick, Los Angeles and Various Small Fires, Los Angeles.
