Christian Legier has worked and been recognised in the fashion world for 30 years for his work as a fashion designer and his affinity for vintage and upcycling.
For him, fashion, art and music are forever linked.
His desire to paint comes from his passion for pop culture and street art, which he decides to mix with vinyl in his paintings. In fact, he wants to tell the story of the album cover.
The album cover takes pride of place at the centre of the work, blending into an interpretation of the cover's off-screen setting. Listening to the record is fundamental to the creative process.
