We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning and exceptionally rare 1984 low Limited Edition number 3/65 Bill Mack a tribute to Picasso bonded bronze picture RRP $100,000 (£78,500 GBP)
The impact of Bill Mack's art is achieved not only by his dramatic portrayal of the human form, but also by the utilization of a wide variety of materials with which to execute his artistic vision. The final work emerges as a classic example of the interplay of form and materials.
For over 35 years, Bill Mack has created sculpture in relief and in the round for government, corporate and private collections. Mack's art hangs in galleries in four continents and he has had exhibits in Tokyo, England, France and Germany.
This is a monumental piece of artwork, it genuinely is huge and has so much charm and charisma. It is as titled a tribute to Picasso, fully hand signed to the bottom left Bill Mack with the exceptionally low edition number of 3/65, to the rear you have the care information documentation supplied by the retail gallery Erin Taylor Fine Art Publishers of the Bill Mack Collection
Made in 1984 and well-travelled, now residing in Wimbledon London. This picture will define a space with style, it is an amazing conversation focus point, to find sculpture in wall art is really quite unique
In terms of the condition the sculpture itself is in good vintage order, it has some patina here and there. The 8 step frame has various chips and marks all over
