Wonderful mounted and framed 19th century Italian Grand Tour set of silvered bronze portrait medallions of The 12 Roman Emperors surrounding 3 larger medals, one showing the Battle of the Tritons, another with 4 poets wearing laurel leaves, and the third of the Roman Colosseum by Tomasso Mercandetti 1758-1821. All set into a silk mat in a neoclassical style giltwood frame. Measures: 28 inches high 21 wide 2 deep.
