About the Item
Fantastic original Australian Daybill film poster for Stanley Kubrick's seminal sci-fi 2001 A Space Odyssey. Classic design softly illustrated in a style quite typical of daybills. A rare and wonderful poster.
This vintage movie poster is sized 13 1/4 x 30 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed).
Comes with fantastic provenance. From the personal collection of someone who worked in the cinema industry for over 60 years in New Zealand. They started out in the late 1950s putting the posters up around town, shortly after as a projectionist and from the 1980s onwards, owner of a number of cinemas themselves.
