About the Item
A visually stunning porcelain plate by one of England's premier Gilded Age factories: Hammersley & Co and custom ordered through Chicago's fine retailer Burley & Company. This wall or cabinet piece was finely crafted with a shaped gadrooned edge and lavishly gilded with 24 karat gold. The center of the plate is finely hand painted with a lush bouquet of florals and an all over background color. A true quality Gilded Age decorative piece and in very good condition
