Collection of five framed wax impressions from seals, France 1850.
About the Item
The collection is contained in a guilloche frame with a wavy edge. Inside there is a panel covered in velvet on which five sealing wax stamps are applied. The seals, clockwise from top left, belong to an unidentified Jaccard family, to Marie Bartholomée Crousaz (1759-1853), married to Pierre-Maurice Glayre (1743 – 1819), then a waxwork unattributed, then a marriage coat of arms of the De Chalonge family. In the center Jacob van Wassenaer Obdam (1610-1665). France circa 1850.
