Vintage Pair of Cecil Aldin Fox Hunting Prints 'The Huntsman And Whip & The Huntsman'.
A nice pair of hunting chromolithographs by Cecil Aldin in original arts and crafts oak frames with applied decoration and titles. The two original Aldin's are in good condition, slightly faded. The two prints are known as ''The Huntsman And Whip & The Huntsman'' and look great hung on anybody's wall.

Cecil Aldin
Cecil Aldin was a British artist and illustrator best known for his paintings and sketches of animals, sports, and rural life. Aldin executed village scenes and rural buildings in chalk, pencil and also wash sketching. He was an enthusiastic sportsman and a Master of Fox Hounds, and many of his pictures illustrated hunting. Aldin's early influences included Randolph Caldecott and John Leech.
