About the Item
This is a Pair of Gialletti Majolica Plates. It depicts two plates with a portrait of a Renaissance man and lady in the center in a royal blue background. The border of the plate is decorated with mustard color dragons, baskets of fruits, flowers and scrolls of acanthus leaves. A mustard color ropes adorn the outer and inner rim of both plates. Both plates are signed Gialletti.
