This Chinese Late Qing Dynasty period large carved elm wood interior window panel from the late 19th century, with fretwork design, Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the later years of the 19th century, of this architectural interior window panel captures our attention with its carefully organized arrangement of fretwork motifs . The fretwork is carved with finesse in order to create typical Chinese square and rectangle patterns that let the light pass through. it could be hang onto a wall vertically or horizontally as a decorative arts piece. Look at the pictures, some imperfections due to the age but it is still a highly desirable antique collectible that is extremely popular and hard to come by.
