About the Item
This elegant pair of antique wall decorations was sculpted in Lorient, France, circa 1890. The ceramic bagpipes feature hand painted Breton figures in traditional, local costumes, embellished with floral motifs. The faience pieces could be used as dry flower vases on a kitchen wall or simply display on a shelf. The sculptures are in excellent condition with rich colors in a Classic blue, white and yellow palette.
