Renaissance style sanguine drawing with watercolor wash on paper - featuring a half length portrait of a young woman in a peasant type blouse with flora and leaves surrounding her - a bowl brimming with fruit in the foreground - thin light graphite pencil line to the edge - signed lower left (unidentified artist) - Italy (the name/signature appears to be Italian?) - mid 20th century.
Excellent vintage condition - no loss - no damage - no restoration - minor waves/ripples in the paper - pin holes - old adhesive tape and stains to the back - signs of age and use.
