About the Item
Martin Summers, (1922- 2012) had a long career creating art in a number of mediums, all with wonderfully whimsical style, and often featuring female subjects. His works were presented in numerous exhibitions in the New York, New Jersey throughout the 60s, 70s and 80s, and have experienced a major revival of interest in the 21st Century following his death. This framed work is a pencil drawing with applied cut paper detail. Signed and dated 10/1984.
