This is one of the series of original black-and-white photographs “collage series” being offered for sale for the first time. George Machado was the menswear designer of Zylos George Machado. During his 25 year career, he photographed many of the top male models in the business from 1986 through 1999. This particular photograph (11”x 14” silver gelatin photograph) was the actual photograph (plate 43) used in his first coffee table book “Masculine” published by Crown Publishers, a division of Random House, NY. . Taken in 1997, New York City. This model was a male model from Boss modeling agency. all the photographs currently for sale and used in the book. were printed in 1997 from the original negative, long before computer generated prints.
