With fabulous artwork from French artist Guy Georget who worked on many Air France posters of the era, this poster promoting the airlines routes to Mexico was created in 1962. Air France was created in 1933 after a merger of multiple French airlines and continues to be one of the largest airlines in the world today. Known for their fantastic posters from the mid-century, this piece is no exception.
Depicting a figure in traditional dress playing guitar in front of a cactus and palm tree, this vibrant sunny piece is colourful with abstract cut out shapes. The rare poster is in fantastic near mint condition.
