About the Item
Wonderful poster depicting a centaur in traditional lederhosen drinking a beer, promoting the 1979 Oktoberfest Munchen, or Munich Octoberfest. Held between 22nd September to 7 October 1979, the annual event is the largest Volksfest in the world and sees attendees drink beer and celebrate Bavarian culture.
This design was created by Lufthansa Airlines, Germany's largest airline to promote routes to the city of Munich for the festival. A brilliant & rare design, this piece is in mint condition.
