About the Item
Personally produced by Walt Disney, Richard Fleischer’s 1954 sci-fi adventure film “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” starring Kirk Douglas and James mason was based on the Jules Verne novel of the same name. This rare UK Quad was produced for the British 1976 re-release and features a wonderful design by Brian Bysouth, widely regarded as the best for this title.
From a collector who worked in advertising (at Saatchi & Saatchi) and was able to use their contacts to get some promotional material straight from the source. Hence the fantastic condition, most posters of this era were sent out folded to the cinemas so to get an unrestored rolled one is very special.
This original vintage movie poster is sized 30 x 40 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed).
