A mid-19th Century sectioned lithographic BOS Whiskey advertising poster. Bos Whiskey was established in 1808 and was one of the finest Whiskey Distillers. This magnificent advertising poster was made for the company in the late 1890s. A true piece of wall art with high impact graphic newly framed and a rare survivor.
Size in inches Approx.: H 66.5” x W 36” x D 1.4”
This item is completely solid in structure, this example is made in 3 sectioned parts that can be clearly seen. With fading to the edges, paper loss, creasing and splits as show this example is still very presentable as the photo shows, a rare survivor. The Perspex framed facia has a small crack to the top left area but does not affect the posters look or decorative nature in anyway, it’s a superficial crack and only on the outer surface of the perplex.
