Original Swedish film poster for The Broadway Melody 1929.
This film was directed by Harry Beaumont. It tells the story of two Vaudeville sisters trying to get a break on Broadway. This was Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's first musical, which won them an Oscar for Best Film.
This beautiful Swedish poster is designed by Eric Rohman (1891-1949) and was used for the films first Swedish release in 1930.
The poster is exceptionally rare Swedish poster has only surfaced a few times.
The poster is conservation linen backed and would be shipped rolled in a strong tube by Federal Express.
