About the Item
This is a rare and desirable original US lobby card for the one of Charlie Chaplin's greatest films. It was released in 1931 when sound had already been out for a few years. Chaplin chose to make this particular film without sound, which did not affect the film's box office success. Very little original US advertising material is known to have survived on this title.
The piece is conservation framed with UV plexiglass in a Tulip wood frame with acid free card mounts. The size given is before framing. The framed size is: 16 1/2 x 19 1/2 in. (42 x 49.5 cm) This piece would be shipped boxed by Federal Express.
