About the Item

The fantastic German A0 film poster for Dr No. Artist Atelier Degen effectively combines artwork and photo-montage to create a great poster. The large German A0 size also helps to deliver on impact. A very rare, collectible poster. Dr No was the very first James Bond film, and paved the way for a hugely successful series of films, which continues today. Produced by Eon Productions and directed by Terence Young it starred Sean Connery as, arguably, the finest James Bond ever and Ursula Andress as one of the most iconic Bond girls. It was based on the 1958 novel of the same name by Ian Fleming. This vintage movie poster is sized 33 x 46 1/2 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed). Year 1963 Poster Type German A0 Style - Art By Atelier Degen Rolled/Folded/Other Folded/Rolled Condition Excellent.

James Bond 'Dr. No' Original Vintage Movie Poster, Yugoslavian, 1962
Located in Devon, GB
Based on Ian Fleming's novel of the same name, the 1962 release of 'Dr. No' first introduced the world to one of the most enduring characters in Western cinema and kicked off one of the most successful film franchises of all time. Suave British spy James Bond travels to Jamaica to investigate the disappearance of a fellow agent, where he battles a megalomaniac scientist bent on disrupting the US space programme.
