Wonderfully symbolic and striking artwork by Machalek features on the Czech film poster for Jack Nicholson classic Five Easy Pieces. A scarce poster, especially in the larger Czech format.
Like their neighbours in Poland, the designers of the Czech Republic, free from commercial constraints and enjoying far greater artistic freedom than their Western counterparts, treated film poster design as an art form. The result is an immensely powerful, wildly original and beautiful body of work.
This vintage movie poster is sized is 22 3/4 x 31 3/4 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed).
